Maximum upload size changed - 4th March 2005

Today we changed the maximum upload size for MailFreeOnline.com-free and none-registrered users. MailFreeOnline.com-free users can upload files with a maximum size of 200 kb. The maximum upload size for none-registered users is changed to 100 kb per file. This change will not have any effects for MailFreeOnline.com-basic and MailFreeOnline.com-full users.

Spam attack from Everyones Internet - 31st January 2004

The servers of MailFreeOnline.com have been attacked by Everyones Internet. Everyones Internet was sending spam e-mail messages with forged headers. The spam e-mail messages looked like to be from MailFreeOnline.com. If you received a spam e-mail message from Everyones Internet, please report it as spam. Note that MailFreeOnline.com will never send you any spam e-mail message. We have taken legal actions against the spammer and have shut down his web site.

New web site / service introduced by the founders of MailFreeOnline.com - 4th December 2003

New security added - 16th November 2003

The engine programmers have added more security to our message delivery services, in order to prevent abuse of them. They have created a new flood control that prevents users from sending a large number of messages. It also prevents remote access of our message delivery engines using other web sites and/or programs. This should result into fewer instances of abuse.

Because of several security reasons MailFreeOnline.com’s Anonymous Mail Program 1.0 is not available after this point in time. The program will also no longer work even if you have already downloaded it. Note that you can still use the free services on our web site!
